It encompasses both water and non-water industry applications and covers entry into NC4 category confined spaces, ensuring comprehensive training for varied operational environments.
Water Industry Applications Include: Potable water operations, sewage treatment processes, drain and sewer cleaning, confined spaces prone to surface water flooding.
Non-Water Industry Applications Include: Pharmaceutical, petrochemical, asbestos removal, vehicle manufacturing and servicing, aeronautical, construction, communications, power and utilities, gas and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mining, quarrying, and tunnelling operations

This three-day course is designed for individuals currently working or preparing to work in high-risk environments. The curriculum encompasses essential safety preparations, safe entry and exit techniques for high-risk confined spaces, proper use of equipment and tools, adherence to safety procedures, and emergency management.

Enrolment Requirements:
Due to the critical nature of confined space work and the emphasis on communication, assessments are conducted in English, with no provision
for interpreters. Delegates must inform the training team in advance if training on a “Mask Style Escape Set (PP10/PP15)” is required, as standard training uses the Hooded Style Escape Set (CF10/CF15).
A Level 2 Award in Working in High Risk Confined Spaces (6160-03) certificate will be issued.
