Water Industry Applications Include: Potable water operations, sewage treatment processes, drain and sewer cleaning, confined spaces prone to surface water flooding.
Non-Water Industry Applications Include:
Pharmaceutical, petrochemical, asbestos removal, vehicle manufacturing and servicing, aeronautical, construction, communications, power and utilities, gas and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mining, quarrying, and tunnelling operations.
Endorsed by Energy and Utility Skills, this course ensures adherence to industry standards.

This combined course runs over 5 days and is aimed at people who are part of a rescue team but don’t currently have any certifications.

Enrolment Requirements:
Due to the critical nature of confined space work and the importance of clear communication, assessments are conducted in English, with no provision for interpreters. Delegates must inform the training team in advance if training on a “Mask Style Escape Set (PP10/PP15)” is required, as standard training uses the Hooded Style Escape Set (CF10/CF15).
Both a Level 2 Award in Working in High Risk Combined Spaces (6160-03) and a Level 3 Award in Working as a member of a rescue and recovery team in confined spaces (6160-08) certificate will be issued.
